WORKING HOURS: -

- Shop – Mon to Fri 09h00 to 17h00. Sat 09h00 to 14h00

- Caravan – Varying weekends for festivals and events

INFORMATION:-

Lady Bonin’s Tea Parlour, an artisan tearoom in Woodstock, Cape Town, is looking for a vibrant new addition to its team. The successful candidate will be self-disciplined, proactive, a fast learner, motivated and a meticulous worker with a well-developed sense of responsibility.

Duties:

• Make, serve and package tea in the tearoom
• Make and serve tea in the caravan at markets, festivals and events.
• Interact with clients
• Have an extensive knowledge of teas and the tea process to communicate and educate clients
• Stock take
• Basic administration
• Submit weekly reports
• Basic market research
• Set up and close shop and caravan

Growth:

• Potential to work towards a managerial position within the company
• Train new staff and guide their process through skills development
• Sales and marketing
• Run the tearoom independently, fulfil managerial responsibilities such as administration, managing staff, client liaison, client maintenance, stock ordering, etc.

• Increased salary over time

Requirements:

The successful candidate must fulfill the following criteria

• Minimum qualification: Senior Certificate
• Computer literate – MS Word, MS Excel, Internet and email
• People person, friendly, bubbly, a leader, outgoing, diligent, take initiative, well kept, respectful and be able to follow instruction.
• Be able to commit to a minimum 6 month work period
• Two contactable references
• South African citizen
• Preferably female
